<description>...I bought a few old Eagles when gold was around $280.

With gold prices going higher, does it mean our economy is getting better?

haha.</description>

<description>Agree re economy and everything else uncertain in these times... right re earlier post, need to be savvy with direct mail, other non online stuff too, is good prep just in case the rules change in a bad way re net marketing.

re gold, for years I've been buying gold escudos ... aka doubloons (2 escudo, 4 escudo), these past 5 years, got a pirate's hoard of em...and nobles and sovereigns. Something about holding gold from the 1700s in my hands, has a great wealth feel to it. And 6ds/sixpence from the 1500s, I have dozens of them ... considered good luck.. elizabeth 6ds. Not selling any of it at all. I like the mojo.

Stock market's been good to me... though my spare change is all in cash only cds.

<description>I don't know exactly when you bought those Krugerrands, but if it was 80, keep in mind that they're now, "rare, antique Krugerrands"!

		<description>Hi John,

Once again, commentary I can relate too. But, don't sell your krug's on ebay. There are plenty of people, including myself, who will buy them at market. There are a ton of Gold Dealers out there right now. And ebay is a hot "second hand" market. Uh... I forgot... you can right one bad-ass ad and sell them fast. Someone will pony-up.

But realistically. Hold on to the Krug's, because this gold market is just a continuation of the market of 80', and it won't stop here. Too many people in China and India trying to buy the stuff. And there's also Russia coming out.

 Time to go. Regards, Andy
